General Terms and Conditions of Chalet1500

These general terms and conditions are part of the contract between you and Chalet1500 and apply to all bookings made through our booking platform www.chalet1500.at. For bookings made through other platforms, the terms and conditions of the respective platform provider also apply.

Reservation & Payment Terms

A reservation is only binding after receipt of a written booking confirmation. A deposit of 30% of the booking amount is due at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the start of the stay.

One day before arrival, €300 will be pre-authorized as a deposit and will be canceled 5 days after departure.

• Fully equipped kitchen
• Private covered parking space (1 per apartment)

Check-in / Check-out

Apartments are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the apartments by 10:00 AM.

Cancellation Terms

It is not uncommon for things to go differently than planned, and the booked vacation must be canceled or interrupted prematurely. There is no right of withdrawal according to the Consumer Protection Code. However, we offer the following cancellation conditions:

• Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival is free of charge
• Cancellation 13-7 days before arrival – cancellation fee: 90% of the rental price
• Cancellation 6 days before arrival – cancellation fee: 100% of the rental price
• In case of early departure: 100%

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance when making your booking.

Local and Tourist Tax

The local tourist tax of €4.00 per person (18 years and older) per day is not included in the total price of your stay and will be charged separately.
All guests receive the Erlebnis Card of the Villach region for free, as well as the toll fee for a daily round trip on the Gerlitzen Alpine Road.
With the Erlebnis Card of the Villach region, you can enjoy the region's attractions for free during your stay in Carinthia on the Gerlitzen.

Obligations of the Tenant

The apartment may only be occupied by the specified number of people (including children and infants). Additional persons can be refused by the owner or charged separately on-site. The apartment must be used carefully, with consideration for the neighbors. Quiet hours must be observed from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The cleaning of kitchen facilities, dishes, and utensils is the responsibility of the tenant (and not included in the final cleaning). If the tenant causes any damage, it must be reported to the Gaggl family.

Pets

One dog per apartment is allowed upon request for a fee of €15.00 per night.

For Smokers

Please note that smoking is not allowed in the apartments and all common areas of the chalet. Ashtrays are provided on the balconies and terraces.
